Normalize Improving & Loving Yourself

I am spending more and more time doing things and engaging in activities that improve me as a whole. As I approach the big 5-Oh, I’ve gotten excited about the type of person I see myself becoming by that point. Even if it’s a few small things work in more ways to improve yourself. You’ll look back in a years time and be more thankful than you have words for.

People are strange creatures that often have no idea what to do with themselves but that’s ok, as long as you handle yourself in the best way possible for you and your goals there’s no need to worry – Shine on and shine bright!

Knowing and enforcing my own personal boundaries has been a struggle for me but one that has been worth it. Sacrificing yourself to keep the peace around you will destroy the peace within you…. It’s not worth it my friends. Seeing how the people and the world around me respond and react to my personal lines has been an interesting thing. Be unyielding when it comes to what you will and won’t tolerate.

You are worthy of love and you deserve having love in your life. Chances are, as you are reading this, there are dozens of people that love you dearly. Believe those people when they express how much you mean to them. Friends, family and lovers alike.
Let them in and let them love you.

Let the joy you have guide you through life.

    1. You are more than welcome, Polly. *HUGS* I am glad this was able to help you in some way.

Sacrificing myself too much is one thing I have struggled with and continue to struggle with. It’s rough some days…. or as the kids say “rough in these streets”.
